Dear NYU facebook people,
Hi there. My name is Benjamin Wigler. I am a history major at NYU. I am returning after taking off a semester to record with my band, Arizona. We just self-released a full length album called Welcome Back Dear Children, and are starting to gig again in the LES side and Central Village areas.
The most probable reason you are reading this page is because you found our flyer on Facebook. We are really hoping to find the most open minded listeners in the NYU crowd who would give our music a listen.
The best thing you could do for us is come out to our concerts as often as possible (actually the best would be to come hang out w/ me, James, and Alix BB as we watch Golden Child). There are many coming up, and we go to the extremes to make our shows as vibey, far out and musically inspiring as possible. We are a 5-piece band, all five of us sing harmonies live, Alex playing electric bass guitar and upright bass (mounted on a stand of his own design so that he can switch mid-song), Andrew B Dunn on wurlitzer electric piano, korg synthesizer, telecaster, trombone, James DeDakis on acoustic drums and cymbals; Nick Campbell plays electric guitar, guhzeng, drums, and vocals; Ben Wigler plays electric guitar, erhu, additional keyboards, and vocals. We often have musical guests with us, or try to play with bands who we are friends with so as to provide a full night of crazy music.
